Domaine Kastriti is nestled in the historic region of Distomo, Boeotia, between the slopes of Mount Parnassus and Helicon—an area with a winemaking heritage dating back to antiquity. At the heart of the estate lies a deep respect for nature and tradition, with an unwavering commitment to organic farming and low-intervention winemaking.

Certified organic and inspired by biodynamic principles, Kastriti Winery produces small-batch wines exclusively from its own vineyards, ensuring full control over every step from vine to bottle. Each label is a pure expression of the land and the vintage, crafted with authenticity and care.

The estate focuses on indigenous and international varieties such as Savatiano, Roditis, Grenache Rouge, and the rare Mikrórrogo Erythró, offering distinctive wines full of character and balance.

Distomo, built at the foothills of Mount Parnassus, is a historic town in Boeotia with roots reaching back to antiquity, as nearby lay the ancient city of Amvryssos. Its fertile land and strategic location contributed to the town’s growth, while keeping alive its traditions and deep connection with nature.

The modern history of Distomo was tragically marked by the massacre of June 10, 1944, when German occupying forces executed hundreds of civilians. The Mausoleum on the hill overlooking the settlement today stands as a monument of remembrance and honor, making Distomo a symbol of sacrifice and resistance.

A short distance away lies Arachova, a cosmopolitan winter destination, renowned for the Parnassos ski center as well as its traditional hospitality. Together with Distomo, they form a region that blends history, memory, and natural beauty.
